This page explains which cookies and similar technologies the ilconteristorante.it website uses, for what purposes, and how you can manage your preferences. It forms part of the website's Privacy Policy.

The controller of the data collected through this website is Gemar S.r.l. (VAT no. 09865100961), with registered office at Via Pellegrino Tibaldi 7, 20017 Rho (MI), Italy, which operates the Il Conte restaurant at Via Giacomo Leopardi 8, Pregnana Milanese (MI).

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit send to your device, where they are stored and then sent back to the same websites on your next visit. Similar technologies (such as the browser's localStorage) perform comparable functions: in this notice the term "cookie" covers all of them.

Cookies may be "first party" (set by this website) or "third party" (set by other domains, for example Google services). Depending on their purpose they are either technical cookies or non-technical cookies (analytics and marketing).

Technical and necessary cookies (no consent required)

These are essential for the website to work correctly and to deliver the services you request. They are used on the basis of the controller's legitimate interest in providing a functioning website and do not require consent.

Analytics cookies (with consent)

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to collect aggregated information about how the website is used (pages viewed, traffic sources, device). This data helps us improve content and structure.

These cookies are enabled only after you give consent via the banner. Until then, thanks to Google Consent Mode v2, the scripts stay blocked. Google Analytics 4 does not record full IP addresses.

Marketing cookies (with consent)

We use Google Ads, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to measure advertising campaign conversions (for example, how many reservations come from an ad) and for remarketing, i.e. showing relevant ads to people who have already visited the website.

These cookies are also enabled only after you give consent and stay blocked until then.

Embedded third-party services

  • Locario booking widget: on the Reservations page the booking system provided by Locario, hosted on app.locario.net, is embedded in a frame (iframe). It is required to book online and may set its own technical cookies managed directly by Locario.
  • Google Maps: on pages with directions a Google Maps map (Google Ireland Limited) is embedded, which may set cookies when the map loads.
  • Video and fonts: videos are hosted directly on our domain and fonts are served from our website, with no requests to external services.

How to manage consent and preferences

On your first visit a banner lets you accept all cookies, reject them, or choose by category. Closing the banner without a choice does not amount to consent and non-necessary cookies stay disabled.

You can change your preferences at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the website footer. Consent is in any case requested again after about 6 months.

Alternatively you can manage or delete cookies from your browser settings. Disabling technical cookies may impair some site features.

Your rights and updates

To exercise the rights under Articles 15 to 22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent) and for any other information about the processing of personal data, please refer to the website's Privacy Policy.

The controller may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the law or in the services used. Changes are published on this page together with the last-updated date.
